My kitchen is tiled as above. 
Which could look brilliant, somehow. But I am more Omani rustic and country kitchen, really, so I want to mix the looks. These ones I love:

So that is PROBABLY how my taste was formed. French Country kitchen (though he had a thing for yellow). I love copper hanging pots and wooden spoons, and totally stocked pantries... I love old Bahla pottery with flowers arranged on the island... not that my kitchen FITS an Island...




K, I know that last one is a spa, but check out that ceiling. WHO wouldn't want to go to bed to that?
If your bedroom is big enough, it is all in the details, habibtis. A library is so me.


BTW, I am moving tonight. So exciting.
One thing about my new house that I am in hate with. The bathroom is tiled pink. I am not really a into girly interior design. I am a more-masculine interior type, so I am going to have to work this somehow. Thinking, thinking.... I could of course go out all glammy sassy girly English rose:
